Review:
I had real high hopes for Clockwork Angel, having read and loved Cassandra's Mortal Instruments Series, I was left feeling very disappointment. The story was very, very slow and didn't really pick up until half way through the book. The characters aren't up to much either. I found then rather annoying and just wanted to slap them. I only really liked one character and that was Will. However, I think that was just because he reminds me of Jace from MI Series. One of the big disappointments of the book was Magnus. I was so excited when his name was first mentioned, then was left feeling totally let down because he only appears twice in the book. One a plus it is suggested that he will have a bigger roll in the follow up book.

Its not all bad, Cassandra has really did her research for this novel and you really do feel like you are back in Victorian time while reading it. And the ending does leave you wanting to know what happens next. I will pick up the next book when it is released and fingers crossed it will be better.
